A £400 million fund operated by the British Business Bank, providing a range of finance options to support new and growing small and medium-sized businesses across the Midlands region of the UK. The fund offers small loans (£25,000 to £100,000), debt finance (£100,000 to £2 million), and equity investments (up to £5 million). It aims to drive sustainable economic growth, support innovation, and create local opportunities, with an embedded awareness of ESG and the transition to net zero. The fund is managed by five appointed fund managers: BCRS Business Loans, First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans, Frontier Development Capital, Maven Capital Partners, and Mercia Ventures.
